RLabs Namibia training

It is just my first two weeks that I have attended this training and it seems like I had been here for a month, because what I have learned is much more than a person can learn in such a period of time.  The first thing I came to know is that social network mad for us to connect us with the entire world to make our voice heard, market our products and business to be know (advertisement) at low cost. It introduces us to new friend everyday and this makes better connection between you and your friends (customers). I have also learned how to collect data using social media which is faster and easy to make conclusion out of their data. It’s easy to say but hard to make someone believe it. So far I learned a lot, there are many different social networks that I have started to use now, which I had never try to make even an attempt to use them before. It was not a fact that I don’t want to use them, but it was because I don’t know them and what to use them for. I am quiet sharpen up and I got the first touch. I can say wonderful to RLabs Namibia training, I can smell it and test the taste of it. It is quiet so sweet and eatable. If it was food then I will add it my dairy menu.

Thank you RLabs Namibia! I do expect to learn more as the training continue.

All i learned at RLabs

R Labs  is  all  about  social  networking  where  by  we  learned  how  to  work  or  how  to  associate  with  different  people  through  networking.  so  far  i  have  learned  how  do  create  an  email  account  which  i never  had  before,  i  open  a  Facebook account, twitter account,  i  learned  how  to  do  presentation  that  is  using  slide share,  i have  a  word press  account  where  by  post  anything  i  want  and  share   it  with  Facebook  or  others.  I  really learned  a lot  and  i  am  hoping  to  learn  more  than  this  after  completing  the  training.

What i have so far learned at Rlabs Namibia

The training at RLABS Namibia started on August 13. I have been having fun since day one. The training is about social media training, where we have learned a lot about social networks. I only knew much about Facebook and a little about twitter. So far I've learned that there are some more sites where people can still interact with others just like on famous face book, {it is still my favorite though}..I believe by the end of the training, i will know much than just a few I've mentioned.Oh my gosh; i shouldn't forget about the tea! I love it!

my experience at RLabs.

before i started this course at R labs Namibia i did not know any  thing that have to do with computers, either website.my first day at classes was quite good, but at the same time i was afraid because of the introduction that i have to do since i was meeting new people.i was a shy person, but now i can talk in front of people with no fear.we opened different accounts like g mail, twitter,Facebook,YouTube, slide share and many  others.now i know their uses, how to use them and who owned them.

how i feel about RLABs training:

Am so excited to attend social media training here at NBIC RLABs Namibia.I had learned more about  social media training like facebook , twitter , flickr , you tube ,gmail and many more.I use to enjoy facebook and twitter the most by sharing information  with different people over Namibia and the rest of the world. On twitter always updated with the latest news around the world..That good opportunity to met new friends.

How do I feel about RLabs Training

The training help me better understand the significant differences between social media platforms; learn how to engage and share with audiences; and build or extend meaningful, professional friendships.

I have learn how to create blogger, set up websites and be able to engage in different social media e.g Flickr, YouTube, WordPress, Twitter and Facebook  The training is of high quality with supportive trainers, who encouraged us to always thing out of the box.

What I learned at RLabs so far.

RLabs has given me more knowledge about social networking sites and how and when they were started as well as how they work such as facebook, twitter, goggle accounts etc. But most importantly we got to open up new accounts and learned a lot on their uses. Rlabs training has also given us a new way of looking at social media, for instance some sites one just never knew what they were really for, their purpose and for whom their meant or audience. But now I see things in a new perspective and ready to explore more on what I have learned so far. Learning about blogs has been the most interesting, blogs have become significant tools used by different organizations and people to communicate to outside world and express their ideas. Most of us who never learned about their uses seem capable of taking the challenge now. Thank U RLabs..

Social media and digital media training

I feel full complete in my life for the training, it s giving a really good knowledge to the youth as I’m the lucky one to be one of training at NBIC ! Through the training i learned reseaching online ,online communication and hope to learned more while the training is going ahead finish my training  I will share the knowledge in our community and around Namibia mostly to the youth .

Social Media Training by: RLabs Namibia

Social Media tools have over the years intensified and have also become more advanced, more fun and easier for users to sing up and become interactive online.

The Social Media Training by RLabs has thus been very insightful, rewarding and very interesting, I have learned and been exposed to several Social Media Tools, some I knew off prior to training and others I got to know of during the training. I am very excited about having recently signed up on Twitter, Linked In, Suithoot, and Wordpress, it means I can now be more visible and active online, able to interact with more and more people online.

It has been a great, insightful, rewarding, learning experience and the skills are indeed valuable and will enable me to become a more creative and brilliant individual, be it at work or at home. I was amazed at the various Social Media Mediums available online and more amazed at the kinds of activities that one can do while using these Social Media Platforms.

I am privileged and glad that I have the chance to be part of this training, even much so because RLabs Namibia is offering the training for free, despite it being an expensive course, which many might not have been able to afford had it required payment from participants.

My Creepy personality

I'm a 24 year old male, and I've always been inaudible around people , Especially those that I’m not close with. I put on a non-smiling face to make sure no one would want to get close to me. I’m too protective over myself, it’s not like I have been hurt by someone but I just don’t trust people. I feel free when I’m around animal than when I’m with so many people at one place. I am always quite, when I talk it’s when I have something important to say.

Our front yard's Landscape

This picture shows the landscape of the NBIC Namibia, Rlabs front yard. The yard itself is quite shady and thus a landscape was advisory to have as we all know landscape improves the view of the yard, support diverse habitats and help soak up excess water quickly.

A healthy working environment paints smiles not only on the staff of the company but also of the individuals that comes in and out of the premises, it keeps them (The staff) healthy by fostering an active working lifestyle and it creates a beautiful environment that decreases stress levels of the staff.  That is why its good to have a beautiful landscape on your yard, it also send a good image to visitors.
A landscape also shows that the company cares about the environment because landscape also helps reduction of soil erosion in waterways, reduction in  evaporation and soil degradation. In simple words landscaping creates a green buffer zone to increase the livability of the environment. It also reduces the risks of vandalism to the property, lower noise levels, it buffers unpleasant views and optimizes the usage level of the outside space for certain activities.
I for one loves a beautiful landscaped yard, be it of a house or business premise, it shows or tells more about the owners of the place. A good looking environment for a business area is likely to attract more people into the place then a business that has a premise that does not look so good from the outside. not saying that the businesses that do not have beautiful landscaped front yards are bad or likely not to be good but just saying, the one with a beautifully landscaped front is likely to attract more traffic then the other.

Have you seen the clouds?

I wonder?

Have you any of you today, while walking to catch a cap, bus or taking out the rubbish, Did you stop to look up and around you ? I  bet most of us don't even notice if its cloudy or a beautiful clear blue sky like today!!

I get it, its a bit windy but we are surrounded by beauty all around us. Just in front of me today i saw this beautiful image below.

Blessed we are with this beautiful country of ours, all you have to do is open your eyes and you will see it.

Next time be the one to notice this small details and stand out. Its the small things that count. Be proud to know your Surrounding!

Hard work pays of at the end!!

When one works hard with the write motor you will get to the end of your task!!

During the planting session if you plant all that you need to and with the write method during the harvest time or when drought comes it will go by with out you noticing or being harmed.
so stop being lazy lazy and work hard like an ant.

so keep in working hard cause the harder you work the more you will have of that thing!!

To the colour of creation,it opens me to amazing art works people have made.Any person can come up with a creation young or old to be inspired can come from the sweetest part of youre heart or the hottest boiling vein in youre body, but its the result, weather in song, craft, expresion or just a plane burst out.But what ever you come up with let me see cause we enjoy such creation, this is one.....

THE DUSTBIN

The dustbin  is used for recycle things like papers and empty  cans and bottles , there are lots company which is responsible for collecting  waste materials,  they usually employee people who use to move  from town to town to collect waste things and they use to put it in the dustbin, a dust bin is just there to make sure if you are eating something and it was in the plastic neither a paper you have to flow it in the dustbin let me say the one nearby just to keep  the area  safe and clean.
To keep the country clean , we as human being need to make sure that if we are using something and later we dont want it , we have to flow it in the dustbin not just around and the company which is responsible for it will send people to go and collect it because at waste materials you can renew something new again which can be more usefully again

Polytechnic Of Namibia's expanding infrastructure.

The Polytechnic Of Namibia as from years back has been striving to achieve a status of becoming a second university in Namibia, this institution has proved to be one of the best educational tool in the country.

Currently the Polytechnic Of Namibia have achieved a milestone in becoming Namibia's first science and technology university. The picture above illustrates how this institution's limited resources a being put into best practice to the benefit of the nation.

Many new courses have been introduced, which results in more specialization among the Namibian community.

The Polytechnic Of Namibia takes Namibia's education at heart.

Flowers

Flowers are the most beautiful creation in the world. Do you know the secret behind flowers how they can change your life and your mood? Let me start with how flowers they can change your life, flowers can make you see that life has a meaning and there is a creator behind everything that exist in this world. In Hebrew 3:4 says Ofcourse, every house is constructed by someone, but he that contructed everything is God. How flowers can change your mood, when you are sad just go out for a walk and have a on flower on beautiful flowers and believe me your mood will chane into happiness. That beautiy they have and their smell just makes one to smile.

I love flowers. The really do change my life and mood. Just like how RLABS changed many of us by giving us this free opportunity to be trained on how we can do business,i am comparing this with how flowers changes one in life.

Enterpreneurship training at NBIC/RLabs

Namibia Business Innovation strives to find a solution to social problems, which are holding back many productive societies in Namibia.NBIC does this through training (at no cost to participants)the unemployed youth who are highly motivated to achieve the desired social change among many Namibians.

Through this training, I am now a skilled social enterpreneur able to identify social problems among different communities and, with these I am currently able to organize and manage resources to achieve and find solutions to different nature of social problems.

I am of the opinion that other educational institutions should put great efforts in developing this type of approach social problems among the youth.

I am proud with what is NBIC the nation.

tera blog: The weeks that was

first week

What a great privilege  it is being one of the participants on the Social Media  training at NBIC!!  if one wants to be a entrepreneur you should just think crazy!some would say think out of the box.

Its a good  idea to marketing business on line but  at times it  depends on who you as an entrepreneur is tarting, and do this people  have excise to the net.  If   this customers do not have excise to internet then it will not be a good idea  marketing only on line cause your customers would  not see your advert.

Marketing on line can be of great success at times..

                                          the next week
Training the trainer...........this was the experience of my life, above all i always wanted to be able to speak in front of a big crowd.

The fear that i had of speaking and now i can stand up for my self  and say what  i have to say with out being afraid  of anything or any one!It always looked  impossible but after this week thanks for the had work of  Emily,Asnath and Aini ,highly appreciated!!!

Now I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me!

Banganibo knows: Social investment & entrepreneurship

Since i have gasped more knowledge on Social network marketing and entrepreneurship my eyes opened i could not understand the opportunity that was sitting right in front of me.It was the a fun ride cause for the first time i realized that i could really interact with the world on a larger scale. The ideas which i had which seemed impossible at once was at my finger tips.I did not know that knowing how to do things the right way applying the right method would be able to take me thus far.personally my brain sparks with ideas every single second,i only see opportunity around me,my focus to help people with what i can is terrific.Co-prate Social investment is one of the greatest standby which could benefit our country as a whole, many have ideas but the support system lacks.I'm working in a system not built in our favor and i plan to change that in anyway i can.I wish to spread the knowledge learned and plan to share it with everyone i can, wish to gain more in the process.I believe building a foundation for people of our country ''I CALL THIS MY FORMULA'' for development.I will definitely in the future talk more about that, but for today i want to say thank you to all the people that has really opened my eyes and let me see further then i use to..

Skills and involvement in entreprenueship

We had only been here for a month and few weeks at NBIC,everything has been going quite well.I would say its been the best place I had been in years.

I have gained so much knowledge from the business or entrepreneurship week.we started of on how to start up your own business, idea creation, target market and the costs involved. One thing that I understood very well was that you can not start off a business that would run successfully without running down or crushing some where along the line. There must be a few failures in the business in order for it to be highly successful  .We also touched on a few marketing strategies and the reasons why people market their products,in order for you to do this you should get them talking, one would say "that's the reason why they invented Facebook and twitter.social networking is the best way to market your products.

During the last week we focused on a topic which is Train the Trainer. Here we did all the do's and don't s when you are presenting. This was highly effective. Most important always wear official when your presenting.

ko2 blog: Go for Business

The first day the Entrepreneurship training was great experience,i gain more experience in starting up my own business and how to create a business idea and what certain method i have to use to run my business, different social media tools.how to do market research, developing products, setting prices, deciding on distribution of networks and organizing advertisement and promotion campaign.

We had a workshop where i also obtain more skills on how to make your product good enough online, find out where your best customers hang out online and arrange to put banners, advertisement implanted on the wed page encourage your happy customers to carry your logo on your email.

Think out of the box and create a want,be passionate about your product in order to make sales.think a head, make sure your target audience can find and buy your product easily.

Next day...Train a Trainer
The next day we were train how to become a trainer.how to to do representations about your business in which way you have to behave in order to make your customers satisfy about your available product.how your representation should look like, how your should dress when you addressing the representation, your body language, your voice and your preparation for the representation etc

What I have done in two (2) Weeks...

Entrepreneurship circle week was awesome, started of with Johannes Hasekiel from NBIC, presenting the Scamper models and Product Innovation, which is advisory for entrepreneurs to use when venturing into the business world.
and then the Business Canvas Model was also quite interesting, it was nice having everything explained to us, from how to use the business canvas model to what you may need, how to get it and the type of people to approach (Investors and Partners) when you are an entrepreneur. during this week, we were asked to create groups in which we came up with ideas and worked on them as our businesses (companies) which was fun and intriguing. it felt like we were in the real world of business.

Then there was the Idea Creation that was also helpful and interesting, being given the courage to be able to think outside the box and come up with business ideas was FUN, the ideas needed not only to be of a new business but they could also be of an existing business or product that you may wish to improve. writing down ideas and going to present them in a group got me realizing, we have got so many entrepreneurs in this country and they just need a little push and hand to show the them the way, just listening to what others come up with and how they think of running their businesses was very nice.

Train the Trainer- This week, most of us came close to our great fear public speaking that is. No matter how most of us think we can speak freely and comfortably at all times, as soon you get up there infront of an audience believe me your mind will go blank for seconds and that's when we start getting nervous, legs starts shivering, voice goes mono-tone and the body language changes and does not even correspond with what we are saying.
well, that was taken care of. The trainers did their magic and its working, stage fright will no longer be an issue or a problem for most of us or let me say for ME.The fundamental skills of overcoming stage fright helped me improve my skills of speaking infront of an audience through everyday presentations.
