NBIC 2012 BootCamp makes ideas concrete

These are the 18 participants that took part in the second session of NBIC bootcamp that was hosted at Eagle Rock Lodge outside Windhoek recently. These young entrepreneurs are trained on how to come up with business plans and also on how businesses work.

Some of the things that these young entrepreneurs discussed include:
  • Give reasons why they want to start businesses
  • Creating vision and how to achieve long visions by identifying mission statements.
  • How to keep start up expenses low
  • Crowd sourcing: presenting their ideas in brief
On Thursday, Mr Sanjay Korteweg enlightened the day by giving a presentation on presentation skills. These skills includes: how to present yourself and your business for financial purposes, tactics on knowing you strong points, answering questions sincerely.

There are still more two sessions to come where by the participants will be briefed on how to convince the banker or the investor. Winners will be announced based on the most promising concept.

The boot camp is only hosted annually, if you want to be part of the next training (2013), please visit NBIC.
